“HORN Debris prevention Device to prevent space debris / Preventing the deterioration of the space environment BULL is developing a device that autonomously prevents the generation of space debris from satellites and other spacecraft. This device, called PMD (Post Mission Disposal), when pre-installed on spacecraft, deploys thin-film membranes after its operation ends. Using atmospheric drag as braking forces, it slows down the spacecraft, significantly shortening its orbital lifetime and preventing the creation of space debris in the future”
