Anduril won a Navy contract worth up to $2.9 billion to build Virginia-class submarine components. It is also investing $3.7 billion in a 2 million sq ft shipyard at Sparrows Point near Baltimore, due to open in 2030 with about 3,100 jobs, and will make torpedo tubes in Orange County. The award came days after Palmer Luckey was named to the Pentagon's Project Meridian study.

Germany plans to buy four more MEKO A-200 frigates from TKMS for about EUR 5.6 billion ($6.3 billion), according to a finance ministry document, with budget committee approval expected that week. The second tranche brings the program to eight frigates worth EUR 11.6 billion, with construction finished by 2035. It follows Defence Minister Boris Pistorius's decision to scrap the F126 frigate project with Damen over delays and cost overruns.

During Chancellor Friedrich Merz's visit to Kyiv, Ukraine's Ministry of Defence agreed with Diehl Defence on the delivery of thousands of IRIS-T air defense missiles and additional launchers, signed a satellite technology contract with Hensoldt, and Quantum Systems agreed to further develop interceptor drones against Russian jet-powered drones and build them in Ukraine, with availability targeted for winter 2026/27. President Zelensky put the value of all agreements at more than €8.5 billion, while German government sources cited €6.5 billion, and Berlin released €1 billion in military aid. Diehl has invested €1.5 billion to expand IRIS-T output toward 2,000 missiles a year, so delivery pace now depends on factory capacity.
