About Reason-1
Reason-1 is Cowboy Space's (formerly Aetherflux) first satellite. It launched on October 1, 2026 on SpaceX's Transporter-18 rideshare. It carries the company's laser, large-aperture optics, beam-steering systems and power and thermal architecture to test power beaming from orbit to Earth, the original Aetherflux space-solar concept, and to inform its later Stampede orbital data center satellites.
