About Mainspring Linear Generator
Onsite power generator in which compressed air and gaseous fuel react without flame and push oscillators through copper coils to produce electricity directly. It runs on natural gas, biogas, propane or hydrogen blends, reports 46% electrical efficiency and under 1.5 ppm NOx, and is sold as a standardized 2.5 MW block of ten 250 kW units. Commercial shipments began in 2020.
