About Vigoride Orbital Service Vehicle
Vigoride is Momentus's in-space transfer and service vehicle. It rides to low Earth orbit on SpaceX Transporter rideshares, then delivers satellites to custom orbits or hosts payloads, maneuvering with Microwave Electrothermal Thrusters that use water as propellant. Vigoride-3, -5 and -6 flew in 2022-2023. Vigoride 7 launched on March 30, 2026 with 10 payloads for NASA, Defense Department and commercial customers, and Vigoride 8 passed critical design review for a 2027 mission carrying NASA-hosted payloads.
