Oshkosh Defense designed and manufactured the JLTV under the original 2015 U.S. Army contract and reports more than 24,000 vehicles produced for U.S. and allied customers since then. In 2023, the Army awarded AM General the follow-on production contract; Oshkosh continues to identify itself as the OEM authorized to provide JLTVs directly to allied customers.
