TS Conductor makes Aluminum Encapsulated Carbon Core (AECC) overhead transmission conductors, which it says carry two to three times the current of standard steel-core ACSR lines and install with ordinary crew practices. A public benefit corporation founded in 2018, it builds conductors at its Huntington Beach headquarters plant and opened a $134 million second plant in Hardeeville, South Carolina, in May 2026 with U.S. Department of Energy support.
