Engineer Autonomous Breaching Capability
U.S. Army initiative run by Capability Program Executive Mission Autonomy to prototype autonomous systems that breach obstacles and minefields with fewer engineers exposed. Caterpillar, Forterra, IDV USA and Overland AI were selected in July 2026, with a unit assessment planned for early 2027 to inform a production decision.
