Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV)

Army-led, joint-service family of light tactical vehicles designed to replace a portion of the Army and Marine Corps light tactical wheeled vehicle fleets. Oshkosh Defense received the August 2015 low-rate initial production contract, and AM General won the follow-on production contract in February 2023. CRS reported in 2025 that the Army planned to procure no additional JLTVs, while AM General cited a delivery backlog through 2027.
