Bechtel
HQ United States
Bechtel provides engineering, procurement, construction and operational capabilities for major infrastructure and government projects.
About Bechtel
Bechtel's defense and security work includes nuclear, high-hazard and secure facilities and mission-critical assets for the U.S. government and allies. The portfolio extends into Department of Energy and National Nuclear Security Administration programs as well as defense-related infrastructure, so nuclear-security work should not all be counted as DoD procurement. Bechtel often delivers through project teams and joint ventures; a shared contract’s total value should not be assigned wholly to one partner without evidence. Its relevant workforce includes engineering, construction management, skilled trades, safety, quality and project controls.
