Replacement planning
The May 2026 plan proposes AS(X) replacements for the two aging tenders. New-tender funding is a different acquisition program and should not be shown as the purchase price of the existing Emory S. Land class.
A discrete shipyard bill
The Frank Cable award covers structural, machinery, tank and propulsion work for one availability. It is useful evidence of maintaining an aging tender but does not establish a recurring annual class cost.
Contracts & purchasing · 1
Ceilings, options and purchase agreements are not spending and are never added together. Obligations are under Contracts.

Open research: Figures retain the date and scope of the original source. A historical count, cumulative delivery or procurement plan is not today’s mission-capable inventory. A source with a defensible unit scope and dollar basis has not been verified. A separately identified lifetime development total has not been verified. This is not a zero-cost estimate.
