WGS-12 differs from earlier WGS satellites

The announced satellite adds protected tactical communications capabilities. Its production price should not be assigned to every historical spacecraft in the constellation.

SATCOM budgets are not WGS-only R&D

The PB2025 SATCOM portfolio combines WGS, MUOS, protected tactical and strategic programs. A WGS-specific lifetime R&D total and annual O&S cost were not established.

Ceilings, options and purchase agreements are not spending and are never added together. Obligations are under Contracts.
