About General Atomics Aeronautical Systems

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems's aircraft portfolio includes MQ-9A Reaper, MQ-9B SkyGuardian and SeaGuardian, Gray Eagle and Avenger. Related offerings include radar and multi-mission payloads, detect-and-avoid technology, communications, integrated intelligence, mission trainers and field support. This makes GA-ASI both an aircraft manufacturer and an end-to-end supplier of surveillance and mission capability. It belongs to the General Atomics group but has an identifiable aircraft business and recruiting footprint. Platform variants, export configurations and developmental aircraft should be distinguished rather than treated as interchangeable products with the same maturity or customer base.

Gambit Series

GA-ASI family of collaborative combat aircraft built around a shared core of landing gear, avionics, chassis, and other hardware. The company describes variants for intelligence and reconnaissance, air-to-air and air-to-ground combat, adversary training, stealth reconnaissance, and carrier operations. Its November 2025 announcement describes Gambit 6 as in development; family membership does not establish the operational status of each variant.
