About

GE Aerospace supplies aircraft propulsion, integrated systems, components and engine services to commercial and military operators. Its defense business covers fighter and trainer engines, helicopter propulsion, tanker and airlift applications, and marine gas turbines. Military engine families include F110, F404, F414, T700 and T901; the company also develops future propulsion through Edison Works, including adaptive-cycle and other advanced engine technologies. TrueChoice Defense provides engine support and sustainment services. GE often supplies propulsion within aircraft programs led by other primes, although it also receives direct government contracts. The Lynn, Massachusetts site designs, produces, assembles and tests military and commercial engines. GE Aerospace’s manufacturing network includes engine test and flight-test operations, component manufacturing, assembly and overhaul sites. Its 2025 U.S. investment announcement included capacity and equipment projects at locations such as Durham, Asheville, Huntsville, Auburn and Muskegon.
